1. Introduction

1.4 This giveaway competition is free to enter, with no purchase required. Any purchases made will not increase your chance of winning
1.5 1 winner will be selected at random once the competition has closed.
1.6 This promotion is administrated by Takeapic and is in no way sponsored or endorsed by any external sources or third party. This includes social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, google, YouTube, etc.
1.7 All information provided is done so in line with our privacy policy.
2. Eligibility and entry restrictions
2.1 To be eligible to enter this competition you must:
2.1.1 be a real person,
2.1.2 be at least 18 years old
2.1.3 live in the United Kingdom
2.1.4 not be a Takeapic employee or family member
2.1.5 not be directly involved with anyone in connection with running the giveaway competition
2.1.6 have access to a current email address
2.1.7 provide the required details to enter
2.1.8 agree to these terms and conditions
2.1.9 agree to sign up to our newsletter
2.1.10 agree to the terms and conditions of camera hire
2.2 The maximum number of entries per person is 1.
3. Start and closing dates
3.2 The closing date for entries will be 11-Jul-2020 11:59pm GMT the date published on our website and/or social media channels.
3.3 Entries received before the giveaway competition be published online will not be counted
3.4 Entries received after 11-Jul-2020 will not be counted
3.5 We accept no responsibility for entries that are not eligible as per 2.1 or entries that have not being received for whatever reason.
3.6 We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
3.7 Entering into this giveaway competition is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
4. Winners and prizes
4.2 If the winner does not meet the eligibility requirement as stated in 2.1, they will not be entitled to any prize under any circumstances. Their entry will be removed from the competition and another entry will be selected as stated in 5.1
4.3 Our decision is final
4.4. The terms and conditions are governed by English law
4.5 The winner will be selected within 14 days of the closing date.
4.6 The prize for the winner of this giveaway competition is any camera rental products available on our website up to the value of £150.
4.7 The winner will be required to pay a security deposit as per our rental terms and any express delivery charges they may select.
4.8 The giveaway competition winner will be notified by email only and will be contacted on the date the winner is selected.
4.9 The winner will be asked for further details to order to claim the prize which may include full name, date of birth, address, email, telephone number. Personal details will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy and data protection laws.
4.10 Once the winner has been notified they will be given an online discount code which entitles them to 100% discount on any camera rental products up to a collective value of £150. This discount will not apply to shipping and security deposits.
4.11 This discount code given to the winner can only be used on our website and shall be valid for 6 months from the date is it issued
4.12 The winning prize WILL be subject to our usual terms and conditions of sale as stated on our website.
4.13 The result of the giveaway competition will be announced on our website and/or social media channels no later than 30 days after the winner has been notified. This announcement may include the name and city/town of the winner.
4.14 The selected winner must respond to acknowledge that they have received their discount code. If no response is received, reasonable efforts will be made to contact them for 30 days following initial notification. Failure to respond within this time may result in the entrant being disqualified and another winner selected as stated in 5.2
4.15 We reserve the right to disqualify any winner who fails to:

4.15.3 comply with these terms and conditions.
4.16 This prize is not transferable and is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value. No cash alternative will be offered.
5. Rights and Copyright of entries
5.1.1 declare that you own all of the copyright and that our use of information will not infringe anyone’s intellectual property or other legal rights.
5.1.2 Grant exclusive licence to copy and to publish your entry
5.1.3 Waive your right to be the author of an entry
5.1.4 Agree for your name and city town being used for publicity activities should you be selected at the winner
5.2 Competition entries are securely stored and information is handled in line with our privacy policy and data protection laws.
5.3 You have the right to retract your entry by contacting us on the email address provided on our website contact page.
6. Liability
6.2 In the event of a civil or military disturbance, act of war, major catastrophe, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of law or regulations or any other event outside of our control the completion may be cancelled and Takeapic will not be held liable for any prize giving. Any changes to the competition terms will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
